What is green pest control?

Mama Bear Pest & Outdoor is a green pest control company that is local to Katy, Texas. We are a husband and wife team that specialize in safe, competitive and customizable pest control. We use plant-based pesticides and organic solutions to control crawling insects such as ants, earwigs, silverfish, spiders, centipedes, millipedes and roaches; which commonly invade your home. We recommend doing a recurring exterior treatment every 8 to 12 weeks depending on the pest pressure around your home. Homes near lakes or newly built communities tend to have more activity. We recommend doing the interior of the home yearly or spot treating as needed. With our recurring service we will guarantee the interior and will treat the interior up to 4 times per year without an additional cost to you.

How do we remove wildlife from your attic?

Your first step is to call for a free wildlife inspection to see what has got into your attic. Once the target pest has been identified we tailor make a plan to seal the wildlife out and to remove them with traps. We will follow-up every 4-14 days depending on what is in your attic. Typically infestations are resolved with 15-45 days; when activity is resolved we will disinfect the attic.

How do you control termites so they don’t damage your home?

Your first step is to get a free termite inspection from our termite experts to determine if you have current a termite infestation. Our technicians will create a treatment plan to control termite activity. Our termite treatments provide lasting relief from the woes of termites. Treatments will typically be able to control termites for 8 to 10 years if it is applied to soil. Your home should inspected at least once a year for termite activity. Since termite damage can cost a lot of money we recommend being proactive and getting a preventive treatment.    

How to suppress mosquito activity?

Here at Mama Bear Pest & Outdoor we offer In2care and mosquito fogs treatments to suppress the mosquito activity around your home or business. Treatments are tailored to your home to control breeding sites and areas where mosquitos congregate. Treatments last 3 to 5 weeks and help break down the mosquito live cycle. We recommend monthly mosquito treatments from March to September during mosquito season.
